Our Story

Golden Wood was founded by Swedish native Pauline Madani who has been living in Dubai since 2004.

In 2006, Pauline founded Golden Wood when she was searching for the highest quality wood flooring for her own home in Dubai. Golden Wood then became the exclusive Middle East representative for Kährs of Sweden, the oldest flooring manufacturer in the world still in production, and we remain proud partners until today- providing our clients with Kährs exclusive products and our expert services in the UAE and Middle East.

Representing one of the world’s biggest and oldest flooring brands of the highest quality means that our focus is to provide a truly reliable supply and installation service to all of our clients. We always place the utmost importance on ensuring the selection and choices our clients make are right for them and their project, providing full guidance and support throughout all stages- from initial design conception all the way through to after-sales over subsequent years.

To further enhance our service, we are continuously learning from experience and working on improving our carefully developed processes to create a synergistic and seamless relationship between our clients, partners and ourselves.

Our award-winning concept of providing specialist and reliable services for a single brand of flooring, combined with a strong local presence over 18 years, has led us to become market-leaders with a reputable name in the region. To date, we are proud to have completed over 4,000 projects throughout the Middle East, Southwest Asia and Northeast Africa.

Samples of every wood species, colour, finish and design from Kährs’ wide product range are readily available for you to browse through, making it easier to select the right product.

In addition to our 600+ sqm showroom and office space in Sidra Tower, we have two large warehouses in Dubai Investments Park (DIP) with over 1000+ sqm of storage space, continuously stocked with a selection of our most popular Kährs floors and accessories.

From here we also run Kährs Academy, our training program, dedicated to educating everything ranging from theoretical practices to technical details about Kährs flooring, including practical installation training of flooring and accessories in various project scenarios.

Our Golden Wood Living Showroom in Dubai is where design meets experience. More than a traditional showroom, this immersive space embodies the essence of Nordic living, featuring over 200 varieties of Kährs wood and LVT flooring samples. Inspired by the simplicity of the Nordic lifestyle, it’s a place thoughtfully designed to feel like home. With natural light, minimalist materials, and curated design elements, our showroom invites you to explore the beauty and harmony of golden-wood Living across several inviting spaces: a welcoming dining area, a relaxing living room, and a cosy library.

Every detail reflects our commitment to nature and timeless design, from the Kährs Urban Brown flooring—marked by natural knots and cracks that capture nature’s unique fingerprint—to the Da Vinci marble accents, evoking the Swedish landscape as if seen from above.

Our showroom represents a new chapter for Nordic Homeworx, where inspiration, collaboration, and innovation come together.
